How high should the TV actually be?

Centre of the screen at seated eye level, which for most sofas puts it lower than people expect. Sit down on the sofa you will actually use, look straight ahead, and that line is where the middle of the screen belongs.

Can a TV unit and a crockery unit share the same wall?

Yes, and in combined living-dining rooms it often makes sense. It keeps the joinery on one side and leaves the rest of the room open. The two should read as one designed run rather than two units placed next to each other.

Is a false ceiling worth it in the living room?

This is the one room where it usually earns its cost. It carries the cove lighting, hides the AC duct and helps separate the seating and dining zones. A peripheral ceiling gets most of that without losing height across the whole room.

How long does a living room take to execute?

A TV wall with panelling, a console and a ceiling with lighting typically runs three to four weeks. Adding a crockery unit or a full dining side extends it by about a week.

Is fluted panelling going to date?

Used on one defined area in a neutral finish, it dates slowly. Wrapped across every surface in a strong colour, it will read as a specific year. Worth deciding which of those you want before committing the whole wall.

Why Ink Design Studio Is Thane’s Best Interior Designer.

Thane is changing fast. New towers rise along Ghodbunder Road, families settle near Hiranandani Estate and Lodha Amara, and more people want homes that feel personal, not copied from a catalog. Choosing the right interior designer matters more than ever.

At Ink Design Studio, we believe a home should tell your story. Here is why homeowners across Thane trust us with theirs.

1. We design around you, not around trends

Every Ink project starts with a conversation. We ask how you wake up, where the kids do homework, how often you host, and what you want to feel when you walk through the door. The design comes from your life, not from a template.

2. We make Thane homes work harder

Most apartments in Thane are compact, and every square foot counts. Our team is skilled at space planning: smart storage, multi-purpose furniture, better flow and layouts that make rooms feel larger and calmer. We design homes that look good and also work in daily life.

3. One team, from concept to handover

You shouldn’t need to chase contractors, carpenters and vendors. Ink handles the full journey:

Concept and 3D visualization, so you see your home before work begins
Detailed drawings and material selection
Modular kitchens, wardrobes, false ceilings and lighting
On-site supervision and quality checks
Final styling and handover

4. Honest pricing, no surprises

We give clear quotations, explain where your budget goes, and tell you when a cheaper option will serve you just as well. What we quote is what you pay, with no hidden charges.

5. Quality materials and finishes you can trust

Good design is about what you can’t see too. We work with reliable suppliers and craftsmen, and we choose durable materials that suit Mumbai-region humidity and monsoons, so your interiors still look good years later.
